India’s Freedom Struggle Several Streams by Bardhan

Centenary of Indian National Congress is a historic event. Despite weaknesses, vacillations and at times even blunders, Himalayan or otherwise, on the part of the leadership, it is the Indian National Congress that ultimately steered the country to freedom.

The fact needs to be recorded that the struggle for independence neither started with the establishment of Congress nor the battle was fought exclusively under Congress banner and on congress Platform.
